Solve the Problem of an api call exited abnormally quick access on PC : Repair Windows Problems.簡単にPCをスピードアップする方法 - MiniTool News
I have a question about quick access. I'm trying to organise and declutter the user experience in our environment and I'm trying to remove the default Desktop, Downloads, Documents and Pictures pins underneath quick access.
The user already has these folders underneath This PC and I would like to unpin them from Quick Access so that they don't appear twice in the explorer window. I'd like to keep quick access and not disable it as some of our users find it useful, but I don't know why they pin the library folders by default. I have already tried unticking the show recent folders tick box in explorer just to see what it removes, but the library pins still appear. There are group policy items to hide those items.
You can find exactly what you are looking for here. It also shows you the Registry entry for it so you can create a batch file to do it in one fell swoop. Gorfmaster1: I can't find the specific policy for this can you let me know what policy you're referring too? JitenSh: I've implemented these registry changes, but it doesn't exactly do what I've asked and oddly works on Server but not Windows If I open the the quick access dropdown I still see the default libraries and then I'm back to square one where there are two references to the same libraries in the sidebar.
